Johnnie Walker revives the decade of sequins, strikes and Saturday Night Fever, and is this week joined by popstar and fashion icon Cyndi Lauper.
Best known for her hit singles Girls Just Wanna Have Fun and True Colours, Cyndi began her 70s travelling around North America after leaving home, eventually studying art in Vermont. Returning to New York she began singing in the city's bars and clubs, performing songs by bands such as Led Zeppelin and Jefferson Airplane. After a scare with her vocal chords in 1977, she went on to garner huge success in the 80s.
