Yesterday, 13th June 2012 saw the delivery of Cyndi Lauper's new single Sex is in the Heel to DJ's and Radio in the US via
Maxi Promotion.

With Broadway collaborators, Harvey Fierstein and Jerry Mitchell, Lauper has written the music and lyrics for the musical Kinky Boots, based on the 2005 British film; the story of a man who in order to save his late father’s shoe factory from bankruptcy, enlists the help of a fabulous drag queen named Lola. Sex Is In The Heel is a passionate love letter to fancy footwear and first glimpse of the extravaganza that opens in Chicago in October and moves to Broadway next year.
